What is your impression about a brand called Brazil?

Brazil is the 5th economy in the world. In my latest book, I had the honor of being introduced to a respectful German-french idea, Author named Scholl Latour.

He is a guy worried about the world. He sees with pessimism the movement of clan divisions and getaway of people from common oppressors, political and religious, as in the Middle East. Guys, the thing here is huge. But he suddenly erupts with Brazil. Brazil is the CULTURAL, social, emotional barn that can save the world. People don’t get along anymore in any place of the world, and the religious and political segregations are serious. Brazil sings a single Anthem; meanwhile…Scholl Latour visited ALL the countries on earth. In 2009, it was the last, in this case, East Timor. He said to my friend of the UN: Only one country in the world gave me hope that, perhaps, humanity finds a way of conviviality. It is a culture that allows, among its multiple forms and the complexity of any society, and of life itself, the essence of being human.

My Mexican partner, Roberto Lara, when visiting the Quantum in São Paulo and traveling with my family to Rio de Janeiro and Ceará, said: “Niña, no hay nada igual” – (“Girl, there’s nothing like it” / “Garota, não há igual”). You do not have prejudice! Of course, my friends that are black, gay, less wealthy or with lower socio-economic status have their complaints. But you need to understand. The atmosphere is light. Racial prejudice in the United States is heavy. Political issues here in Asia (where I blog this excerpt today) and racial issues are in evidence. I do not want to do a silly nationalistic boosterism because I have strong aversion to naive nationalism. Brazil has problems, an unworthy corruption and the lack of infrastructure and reaction is exhausting. But there is not this hatred and this nonchalance that is taking the world, NOT BECAUSE OF RELIGION AND POLITICS. Our war is OF survival and thief (being the Government the 1st). Latour is right. He is a serious studious. Brazil has a model, in gist, in the way of people being with other people, which the world will learn. My Mexican partner highlighted the friends of all colors, the naturalness with which they attend the same bar, or restaurant and celebrate, the lightness of the Brazilian, and I add, our lust for life, our word, of course.

Uncle Sam already met our “batucada” (drumming), now comes Uncle “ChingLing”, Ali Baba, the Dalai Lama, Amit Goswami. We have a gift, an unconscious force and a waddle of knowing to love. Of learning to sing. Of knowing how to dance. Of knowing how to UNDERTAKE. This cultural issue is serious, it’s not a romantic view.

That said, in a moment of revolution, Brazil is showing up again, surprisingly, detached from it’s political leaders. Corruption in government and institutions require redesign. We are REALLY picking new mind sets now to rule the show. It is a rich country, that does not manage things properly. But there is a message to be faced: What would “properly”be? For sure, this country need to take it’s own poeple seriously, and it’s own businesses better. But evolution all around the world is being called up to change. Violence, segregations, competition and lack of authenticity is no longer worth the money or superficial concept of evolution, success. Brasil shall be the one voice, for the following brand perceptions:

1. It is an unbelievable creative country. RICH AND EFFICIENT but messy and undisciplined. It is like the wind. Strong but not domesticated. It does not want to be domesticated, but it want to be free, as well as in order. How to join those? 

2. It is relationship driven country.

3. Order , in nature, does not mean one only model of discipline. Brazil brings fresh air to the soul of productivity, vital energy, new fresh ways of making life worth it

4. Brasil is a mess. To long term corruption and imitating “organized” models dis not work out. It is thou, a young country, full of energy and natural resources. We put a president in 1990’s and got him off. We trust, we are trustful as a nation and specially as business people and artists. But we are explored by a system we accepted, that somehow make us responsible for corruption, and makes us corrupted ourselves, by omission. We are facing the change deeply in our management, with kids at home, in Schools, in traffic, at work, in politic affairs, finally this year. We are courageous and bad organized. There is violence, and still lack of serious public political ( and police ) strategies to face it.

5. We pretend less then many other cultures.

6.  We are resilient and still playing the “poor cousin” role play. Self steam is related to soul expressions ( comes with it football and carnival, but goes beyond, to music, dance, joining together, elevated unique sense of humor, but making money or having steady “good infra structure”still seems a luxory article in our collective unconscious mind ( doesn’t matter if we are talking about roads, transportation, hospitals, security or ours houses. A bad government maintained the average mind set as to the poor cousin. Then, the will to get “advantages” is a compensation for all the lack. Real ambition to be healthy needs better basis.

7. It is a conscious country. Honest people fight the bad cultural heritage. It is half X half – for habits are hard to change.

8. A country where you feel welcome, you make friends – true friends- more offently, and you feel people care. Yes, it is my problem if you are ok or not.

9. Sensual traits are famous. Not only women, but man in Brazil has a sexual code all on it’s own. Gringos do not understand it properly, it is not the “easy”sex as images recall repressed minds, it is a sensual connection and social code, not only for deep sex experiences, as per India, for instances, but for personal level of making love even without sex. Men’s approach to a woman in Brazil and it’s code of attraction must be far from the vulgar. It is a high level non local connection and elegant interaction. In most poor places, the elegance has it’s own code as well, and it is rough in many parts . Domestic violence and bad approaches or non respectful gesture of course happen.  But average means . if you go to a Beach in Rio, a shopping in São Paulo, a park , mains streets in many cities, a hotel or beach up north, mainly, you will check gentle – and very attractive approaches, both  from men and women.

10. It is a giant. And people feel in charge. Expect a big change and better place to be, in terms of decence, honesty and infrastructure. We will do it.. The question is, excuse us, we are making it our own way. And this means with another brand new governamental model, that fit HERE, and welcomes all countries we love and admire. The present financial model broke the planet. Let’s be creative? I think this is the country of new healthy possibilities in many senses

Which nation, with productive force, one SINGLE LANGUAGE (and not 3 thousand dialects…), creativity and entrepreneurship is in RELATIONAL, spontaneous condition, of Brazil’s day-to-day? The reactions around the world have been based on segregation and hatred. With the help of Dilma (the President), a type of pasteurized legislation and conduct is able to take us to get even more plastic and we may lose this difference, that uniqueness, that creative drumming being. This mess, we can say. There is happiness in Brazil. Traveling the 5 continents, and working to support communities through education and self-knowledge and such, I can say, we are blessed. In everything.  Sometimes you only see what you have when you lose it. Or when it gets a little far? So you should use the eyes of the foreigners more clever than me, and this voice of this person who speaks to you. “Brazil is the man!” (In progress).

Qual é a sua impressão de uma marca chamada Brasil?

O Brasil é o 5º na economia mundial. No meu último livro, tive a honra de ser respeitosamente introduzida à ideia Franco-alemã, autor chamado Scholl Latour.

Em 6 de Janeiro de 2012, eu coloquei no meu blog …;

O historiador Scholl Latour, escritor político germano-francês ou melhor, franco alemão VEJA O RESUMO DO JORNALISTA AQUI, é um cara preocupado com o mundo. Ele enxerga com pessimismo o movimento de divisões de clãs e fuga de povos de opressores comuns, políticos e religiosos, como no oriente médio. Galera, a coisa aqui ferve. Mas ele de repente, inrrompe com Brasil. O Brasil é o celeiro CULTURAL, social, emocional que pode salvar o mundo. Ninguém se entende mais em lugar nenhum, e as segregações políticas e reigiosas são sérias. O Brasil canta um Hino só, enquanto isso… Scholl Latour visitou TODOS o países na terra. em 2009, foi o último, no caso, o Timor Leste. Ele afirmou para  meu amigo da ONU: Apenas um País no mundo, me deu a esperança de que, talvez, a humanidade ache um caminho de convívio. é uma cultura que permite, em meio a sua forma múltipla e a complexidade de qualquer sociedade, e da vida em si, , a essência de ser humano.  

Meu sócio Mexicano, Roberto Lara, ao visitar a Quantum em São Paulo e viajar com minha família ao Rio de Janeiro e Ceará, disse: “Niña, no hay nada igual”. Vocês não tem preconceito! CLaro, meus amigos negros, gays, menos ricos ou com nível sócio econômico apertado tem suas queixas. Mas é preciso entender. O ar é leve. Preconceito racial nos Estados Unidos é pesado. Questões políticas aqui na Ásia ( donde blogo este trecho hoje)  e raciais, estão à mesa de almoço. Não quero fazer um ufanismo bobo, porque tenho aversão a nacionalismos ingênuos. O Brasil tem problemas, uma corrupução indigna e é cansativa a falta de infra e de reação. Mas não há este ódio e esta indiferença que está tomando o mundo, NÃO POR RELIGIÃO E POLÍTICA. Nossa guerra é de sobrevivência e ladrão ( sendo o Governo o 1o).  O Latour está certo. É um estudioso sério. O Brasil tem um modelo, no jeitão de ser, na forma de as pessoas estarem junto a outras pessoas, que o mundo vai aprender, Meu sócio Mexicano ressaltou os amigos de todas as cores, a naturalidade com que frequentam o mesmo bar, ou restaurante e se festejam, a leveza do brasileiro, e eu emendo, o nosso Tesão pela vida, palavra nossa, claro.  

O tio Sam ja conheceu a nossa batucada, Agora, vem o Tio ChingLing, O Ali Baba, o Dalai Lama, o Amit Goswami. A gente tem um dom, uma força inconsciente e um gingado de saber amar. De saber cantar. De saber dançar. De saber EMPREENDER. Esta questão cultural é séria não é uma visão romântica.

Dito isso, em um momento de revolução, o Brasil está aparecendo novamente, surpreendentemente, separado de seus de líderes políticos. Corrupção no governo e nas instituições exige um redesign. Nós estamos REALMENTE escolhendo novas mentalidades agora para governar o show. É um país rico, que não consegue administrar as coisas corretamente. Mas há uma mensagem a ser enfrentada: O que seria “propriamente”? Com certeza, este país precisa levar seu próprio povo a sério, e seu próprio negócio melhor. Mas a evolução em todo o mundo está chamando para a mudança. Violência, segregações, concorrência e a falta de autenticidade não faz mais valer o dinheiro ou conceito superficial de evolução, sucesso. O Brasil deve ser uma só voz, para as seguintes percepções de marca:

1. É um país inacreditavelmente criativo. RICO E EFICIENTE, mas confuso e indisciplinado. É como o vento. Forte, mas não domesticado. Ele não quer ser domesticado, mas quer ser livre, assim como em ordem. Como juntar esses pontos?

2. É um país orientado pelos relacionamentos.

3. Ordem, na natureza, não significa um único modelo de disciplina. O Brasil traz ar fresco para a alma da produtividade, energia vital, novas maneiras de fazer a vida valer a pena.

4. O Brasil é uma bagunça. A corrupção a longo prazo, imitando os modelos “organizados” não funcionaram. É, contudo, um país jovem, cheio de energia e recursos naturais. Nós colocamos um presidente em 1990 e o tiramos. Nós confiamos, somos confiantes como uma nação e, especialmente, como empresários e artistas. Mas somos explorados por um sistema que aceitamos, que de alguma forma nos faz responsáveis ​​pela corrupção, e faz-nos a nós mesmos corrompidos, por omissão. Estamos diante da profunda mudança em nossa administração, com as crianças em casa, nas escolas, no trânsito, no trabalho, nos assuntos políticos, finalmente este ano. Nós somos corajosos e mal organizados. Há violência, e ainda a falta de estratégias sérias de políticas públicas (e policiais) para enfrentar isso.

5. Fingimos menos que muitas outras culturas.

6. Somos resilientes e ainda nos fazendo de “o primo pobre”. Auto estima está relacionada às expressões da alma (vem, com isso, futebol e carnaval, mas vai além, até música,  dança, unidos, um elevado senso único de humor, mas ganhar dinheiro ou ter constante “boa infra-estrutura” ainda parece um artigo de luxo em nosso inconsciente coletivo (não importa se estamos falando de estradas, transporte, hospitais, segurança ou nossas nossas. Um mau governo manteve a idéia geral definida quanto ao primo pobre. Então, a vontade de tirar “vantagens” é um compensação para toda a falta. Ambição real para ser saudável necessita de uma ​​melhor base.

7. É um país consciente. As pessoas honestas combatem a herança cultural ruim. É metade X metade – pois hábitos são difíceis de mudar.

8. Um país onde você se sinte bem-vindo, você faz amigos – amigos verdadeiros, com mais frequência, e você sente que as pessoas se importam. Sim, problema meu se você está bem ou não.

9. Traços sensuais são famosos. Não só as mulheres, mas o homem no Brasil tem um código sexual tudo único. Gringos não  compreendem corretamente; não é o sexo “fácil” como imagens fazem referência em mentes reprimidas, é uma conexão e um código social sensuais, não só para experiências sexuais profundas, como de acordo com a Índia, por exemplo, mas para o nível pessoal de fazer amor mesmo sem sexo. A abordagem dos homens com uma mulher no Brasil e seu código de atração deve estar longe do vulgar. É um elevado nível de conexão não local e interação elegante. Na maioria dos lugares pobres, a elegância tem também o seu próprio código, e é difícil em muitas partes. A violência doméstica e abordagens ruins ou gestos não respeitosos certamente acontecem. Mas em média: se você for a uma praia no Rio, a um shopping em São Paulo, a um parque, nas principais ruas de muitas cidades, a um hotel ou na praia no norte do país, principalmente, você vai verificar suaves – e muito atraente – abordagens, tanto de homens e mulheres.

10. É um gigante. E as pessoas se sentem no comando. Esperam uma grande mudança e um melhor lugar para viver, em termos de decência, honestidade e infra-estrutura. Nós faremos isso. A questão é, desculpe-nos, nós estamos fazendo do nosso jeito. E isso significa c uma outra marca, um novo modelo governamental, que se encaixa AQUI, e recepciona todos os países que amamos e admiramos. O atual modelo financeiro quebrou o planeta. Vamos ser criativos? Acho que este é o país de novas possibilidades saudáveis ​​em muitos sentidos.

Qual nação, com força produtiva, um ÚNICO IDIOMA ( e não 3mil dialetos…), criatividade e empreendedorismo está na condição RELACIONAL, espontânea, de dia a dia do Brasil? As reações em todo mundo tem sido de segregação e ódio. Com ajuda da Dilma, um tipo pasteurizado de legislação e conduta é capaz de nos levar a ficar ainda mais plásticos e pode ser que possamos perder essa diferença, essa singularidade, esse batuque criativo de ser. Essa bagunça, que se diga. Há uma felicidade no Brasil. Viajando 5 continentes, e trabalhando em apoio a comunidades pela educação e autoconhecimento e tal, eu posso dizer, nós somos uns abençoados. Em tudo. Às vezes você só enxerga o que tem quando perde. Ou quando fica longe um pouquinho? Pois use os olhos dos gringos mais sabidos do que eu, e a voz desta que vos fala. O Brasil é o cara!  (Em progresso.).
